88.7 The Pulse – iOS Changelog

We've spent the whole summer making improvements and adding a new feature to our app!

- [NEW] Ability to request songs from the app, tap the new button at the top left of the screen, and tap "Request a Song"

- [NEW] Follow our station's Twitter account with a simple tap of a finger

- [NEW] The Pulse comes to the BIG screen. You can now use AirPlay to beam our stream to an Apple TV!

- [NEW] The Pulse comes to the iPad! (requires and internet connection, WiFi or cellular data plan)

- [IMPROVEMENT] Changed the audio encoder to provide you with a clearer listening experience

- [IMPROVEMENT] Push notifications are more reliable

- [IMPROVEMENT] Slight redesign to make navigation simple

- [BUG FIX] Minor compatibility issues with iOS 8 betas

- [BUG FIX] Increasing or decreasing the volume now works via the system-wide volume controls

- [NEW] Spanish Translations for App Store description (thanks to our very own DJ Lynch)

- [NEW] the ability to share our app using a variety of social networking websites

- [MINOR CHANGE] our station's name has been changed on the store to help our listeners find our App better.

- [FIXED] Twitter compose button on 3.5 inch displays missing.

This update contains improvements, and bug fixes, including:

- [NEW] Thorobred Chevrolet banner at the top of the screen

- [IMPROVEMENT] Tweet screen now shows images that are contained in the tweet

- [IMPROVEMENT] Radio will now keep streaming when you're in the Twitter & Browser screens

- [IMPROVEMENT] Station name is now displayed on the lock screen of your device, as well as in Control Center.

- [IMPROVEMENT] Send us a Tweet directly from our app

- [IMPROVEMENT] Our app now takes up more unused white space on 4-inch devices

- [FIXED] Radio streaming bug if you were in a bad cellular spot (example Flagstaff, and most of Northern Arizona)

- [FIXED] A few bugs related to items in the Tweet list
